The Flynn opens right up to the street. It is dark and masculine yet inviting. It beckons people looking for relief from the heat with its refreshing air-con and cave-like shade. You'll find this eatery just south of The Rocks and the Museum of Sydney in the CBD. The place gives off a cool, fresh vibe as the sun goes down. It's the kind of place you can take a date for some good food and convo before heading back out onto the street of Sydney. The entire restaurant is built to emulate the 1940's but with a modern twist. The Flynn offers up lunch specials every day. There's the $15 Flynn lunch box on Mondays where you can choose your main and side. It gets even better on Tuesdays when you can get a $13 Wagyu beef burger and chips. It keeps rolling on Wednesdays and Thursdays when you can get deeply discounted schnitzels, steak sandwiches, poke bowls and pizza. The menu has plenty of burger and pizza options. There is also a few fancy mains that include gnocchi, barramundi and lamb cutlets. The menu does not have a ton of options but the restaurant makes up for it in flavour. There is a whole host of Flynn special cocktails that include My Cherrona, Sloe Mexican and Born to Bee. The beverage menu does not forget the 1940's classics like the Negroni, Cosmo and martini. This place is perfect to catch up with an old friend.y for the delay!
